PREMIUM SERVICES


FUNCTIONAL  MOVEMENT ASSESSSMENTS     

The following evaluations, tests, and protocols were designed to fill the needs of clients wishing to enhance their training experience. Each topic provides detailed information for clients seeking specific knowledge in areas that are fitness and performance related, as well as beneficial for overall health.


These programs provide extra time designated to investigating inefficient movement patterns and problems which prevent one form achieving their full potential.    Evaluation of strengths and weaknesses within  a specific area provide information on which therapeutic protocols are taught or created to solve a problem.         Attention is given to overlooked areas so that one can improve their capabilities and affect performance in a positive manner. Based on sound principles, each is formulated to promote fuller understanding of one’s body, create common focus between the trainer and trainee, and empower individual’s to make positive choices. These skills can then be integrated into regular training programs and implemented in daily life.                                        

         

Cost: $90/hour, $45.00 Half hour

May be purchased and scheduled independently from Individual Sessions, Classes, and Circuit Training or added to the end of a session when time allows. Some pre-requisites may apply.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: Private & Semi-Private Instruction


INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS: New clients are required to take three private sessions before becoming eligible for the monthly rates. The initial three lessons are one hour 15 min. in length. A portion of the first session will be used for an initial skills assessment and health history. These privates may be purchased separately, or discounted as a package if purchased on the first day.

                    Second & Third Sessions        $ 90.00 ea

                    First Three Session Series       $275.00

MONTHY RATES: Following the first three sessions, clients may choose from the following packages, or pay for individual sessions. Each lesson is 1 hour in length - more time may be added at an additional cost. Packages are purchased prior to using the classes, and are valid for one month only.

SMALL GROUP CLASSES

Available upon request for 4 -6 participants.

    Small group classes are a great way to enjoy a workout with a group of friends. Learning together gives you extra incentive show up and encouragement to continue. Having some knowledge of the work helps to keep the dynamic consistent, but beginners are also welcome!


Cost: Price varies by number of participants. Dates must be pre- arranged & paid in advance - no substitutions, non-transferrable, non refundable.


CIRCUIT TRAINING

Available upon request. Please contact ann barbour/studios for class schedule. 

    Circuit Training is ideal for individuals who are able to work by themselves, but prefer a structured workout. Each person starts on a separate piece of equipment or station. After completing one exercise within a specific amount of time, everyone rotates to a new exercise until the circuit is complete. This is a fun twist on a group class, and will test your memory as well as your ability to create intensity in your workout!

INDEPENDENT SELF-PACED PROGRAMS

For experienced practitioners or those who are comfortable with their programs. Must demonstrate proficiency and safety in the use of the equipment to qualify for independent studies. Available as schedule allows and by permission only.


CLASSES

Ask for a current schedule of GYROKINESIS®, Pilates Matt, and Pre/Post Natal Classes. Rates will vary depending on location and length of the class.

Lifestyle Fitness, Sport Specific, Postural Alignment & Correctives,  Injury Prevention, Pre & Post Rehabilitation Fitness, Pre & Postnatal Fitness, Dance Conditioning, Age Appropriate Programs: for Children and Seniors.

Please see the Programs page for ideas and suggestions to customize your workouts. Specific areas of interest can be the primary or partial focus in your private training sessions, with exercises and protocols integrated into your private sessions as time allows.
